She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, October 10, 2014 from 9:00 Am until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Husband of 55 years, Charles John Pizzolato; sons, Charles Wayne Pizzolato and loving companion, Courtney Yrle, and Jason Kyle Pizzolato and wife, Michelle; daughter, Kerrie Lynne Pizzolato; brothers, Peter Fontana and wife, Terese, and Steven Fontana and wife, Susan; sisters, Betty Jean "Jeannie" Ward, and Kathryn Mizell and husband, Wayman; grandchildren, Brooks, Jennifer, Christopher, Tiffany, Shannon, Dain, Dillon, Alyssa, Brandi, and Brad; great grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Ryley, Andrew, Brooke and Olivia; godchild, Elizabeth "Beth" Vito. She was preceded in death by her, parents, Vincent Anthony and Congetta Solito Fontana; daughter, Cheryl Ann Pizzolato; brother, Charles Joseph Fontana; sisters, Antoinette Bergeron, Clara Fontana, Merian Henry, Patrica Bellanger and Congetta "Cookie" Burke; godchild, Clint Lusco. She was aparishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She worked at Charlie's Family of Hair. She enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques, arts and crafts, arranging flowers and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a kind word for everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.
