Freddie Smith, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 
2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Paul Baptist 
Church in Lafourche Crossing. Funeral services will be at ll a.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in St. Paul Baptist Church cemetery in Lafourche Crossing. 

He is survived by his wife, Sadie Smith; daughters, Carolyn Banks (Austin), 
Deborah Wiggins (Robert) and Trudy Jones; sons, Calvin, Michael, and Alfred 
Smith (Mary), and Eric and Garland Jones; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eartha Smith; son, Herman 
Berneil Smith; and brothers, George and Raymond Lewis. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
