Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1411.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Euna Mae Bourgeois Arcement, 88, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, passed away at 1:27 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Catholic Church cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by her son, Roland A. Arcement Jr. and wife, Evelyn; daughters, Patricia Scott, Julie Matherne and husband, Buddy, Mary Frances Louviere and husband, Pete, Mary Margaret Blanchard and husband, Neil and Theresa Knight and husband, Dee Dee; sisters-in-law, Audrey Bourgeois Turner and Rosemary LeBlanc Arcement; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Roland A. Arcement Sr.; father, Raymond J. Bourgeois Sr.; mother, Mathilde Dufrene Bourgeois; sister, Louise Bourgeois Hebert; brothers, Clifton, Raymond "R.J." Jr. and Richard Bourgeois; grandson, Baby Knight; sons-in-law, Michael W. Scott and John Wayne Bergeron Sr.; and one great-daughter-in-law, Dianna Scott. Euna was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed working under the guidance of Msgr. James Songy as secretary of Holy Savior Catholic Church for nine years. She and her husband, Roland, enjoyed many years of camping with the Bayou Retirees Camping Club. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her six children are thankful to God for giving them such a loving and wonderful mother. She taught her children merely through example of a giving heart and was always the "rock" that her family could count on. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Stat Home Health in Houma, St. Joseph Hospice, sitters, Mary Evans, Ethel Lirette and Pearl Aysen, and her friend and caregiver, Birdie Barber. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Legion Post No. 83 in Lockport. Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ======================
