Barbara C. Benoit, 80, a native of Louisville, Mississippi, and resident of 
Thibodaux, was born June 23, 1934, and passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time 
Tuesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Wilfred Benoit; and daughter, 
Freida Benoit. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Crowell Walter and Eaves Phelsia, of 
Louisville, Mississippi; granddaughter, Kaila Benoit; and two brothers. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
