Harris P. Blanchard, Jr., 70, passed away November 9, 2014, native and resident 
of Thibodaux, LA. Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 
9AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will be at 11AM at the church, 

burial to follow at St. Philomena Church Cemetery in Labadieville.

He is survived by his children, Rodney Blanchard and wife Christina, Dana Duet 
and husband Darren, Dawn Morvant and husband Jay; sisters, Jolly B. Thibodaux, 
Betty Arceneaux and husband Robert, Jeanette Maronge, Anna Mae Robichaux and 
husband Michael, Bessie Danos and husband Jay, Merry Arceneaux and husband 
Kenneth; grandchildren, Samantha Breaux, Rebecca Blanchard, Erin Blanchard, 
Spencer Duet, Carson Duet and Jorden Morvant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris P. Blanchard, Sr. and Gertrude 
Ponville Blanchard.
