Marion donated her body to the LSU Board of Anatomical Sciences. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday, Dec. 1, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. She is survived by her children, Glover Chiasson and wife, Sue, Peggy Ledet and husband, Allen, Kerry Chiasson and wife, Shelly, and Lionel Chiasson Jr. and partner, Beau Hammitt; grandchildren. Curt Chiasson, Paulette Boudreaux, Monique Sider Yvette Bourgeois, Holly Cheramie, Celaya Bruce, Ted Chiasson, Celeste Callais, and Janee', Judd, and Jason Adams; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Emma Louise Touro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Chiasson Sr.; parents, Clarence and Ismae Pitre; brothers, Floyd, Robert "Bobby", Hudson, and Donald Pitre; and sisters, Anna Mae Breaux, Genevive "V.V." Broussard, Florence Echette, and Gertrude Bourgeois. She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church, and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and VFW Auxiliary. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements. ======================
