Morris "Gas" Robert Coleman Sr., 74, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident 
of Houma, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Jones Funeral Home 
in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sons, Morris R. Coleman Jr., Donald Coleman, Michael J. 
Coleman, and Koslo, Troy, and Sean Richmond; daughters, Patricia A. Coleman and 
Antionette Yates; sisters, Bertha Minor and Ruby Chambers; brother, Elroy 
Coleman; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon D. Ross; one granddaughter; 
parents, Lillie Bell Brown and Robert (Deborah) Coleman; and brothers, Roland, 
Clarence, and Henry Coleman. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
