Dubuisson, 86, a 40-year resident of Houma, joined his Lord and Savior Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. Funeral services Will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. He is survived by his children, Peter Dubuisson, Angela Essig, Lucie Dubuisson, Shawn Dubuisson, Christian Dubuisson, Debra Bergeron, and Sally Bergeron. Don was blessed with eight grandchildren, Chad Dubuisson, Laura Davis, Rachael Oehring, Ryan Oehring, Alicia Stensland, Doug Dubuisson, Nicole Linscomb, and Blake Bergeron; four great-grandchildren, Gabriel Davis, Sarah Davis, Charlotte Stensland, and Logan Linscomb; brother, Roger Dubuisson; daughters-in-law, Janie and Tresa Dubuisson; and sons-in-law, Cliff Essig, Petch Bergeron, and Pete Bergeron. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Bergeron Dubuisson. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, Don graduated from Gulfport High School and the University of Mississippi in Oxford. In Houma, he was an insurance salesman for Pan American and later worked for Town and Country Real Estate. Don played trombone in both his high school and college bands, was a member of the Gulfport Symphony, and was a proud member of the Houma Community Band.
