Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Kirby Elie Dupre; son, Archie Anthony Buquet Jr. and wife, Erica; daughters, Renee B. Carrasco and husband, Gary, and Ketty B. Trosclair and husband, Joseph "Tee-Joe"; brothers, Anthony "Junior" Boudreaux Jr. and wife, Brenda, Rannie Boudreaux, Patrick "Pat" Boudreaux Sr. and wife, Cheryl, and Brian Boudreaux Sr. and wife, Annette; brother-in-law, Myron "Black" Prosperie; grandchildren, Hunter and fiancee, Crystal, Kade, and Dillon Buquet, Garrett and RaeAnn Carrasco, Monique Wyrybkowski and Jonathon Coates; great-grandchildren, Alajah and Aveon Wyrybkowski, Alonna Scoby and Kloie Coates; and aunt, Lefey Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Rene Boudreaux Sr.; mother, Nora Rita Lirette Bourgeois; brother, Clark "C.J." Boudreaux and wife, Tammy; and sister, Karen B. Prosperie. Salome was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church for 45 years. She served as a part of the Pastoral Council Board and a reader for Sunday Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. She was a bookkeeper-tax preparer, co-owner of Dupre's Professional Services, LLC for 37 years and Dupre's Fast Cash, Inc. for 15 years with her partner, Patty Dupre. She was very active in the community and loved by many. She was a family oriented woman whose joy, love and happiness came from spending quality time with her family. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends. Although she is gone, her memory will remain in everyone's heart.
