Margie Ellen Wood Elderkin, 91, a native of Ozark, Arkansas, and resident of 
Thibodaux, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at University 
Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray. 

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy E. Scott and husband, Logan; 
granddaughters, Angie M. Wollschlaeger and husband, Christopher, and April A. 
Scott; and great-grandsons, Jack A. Hutchens and Samuel C. Wollschlaeger. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Elderkin; son, Jack Dennis 
Elderkin; parents, Dennis Marion Wood and Grace Carpenter Wood; brother, Billy 
Wood; and sisters, Dorothy Jo Cherry and Rebecca Wood. 

Margie was an active member of University Baptist Church and was beloved by her 
friends and family. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
