Geraldine M. Ellender, 73, a native and resident of Montegut, died Tuesday, 
Nov. 18, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Charles 
Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-aux-Chenes. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be at noon Friday at the church, 

with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery in Pointe-aux-
Chenes. 

She is survived by her son, Jamie Ellender; grandchildren, Fallon Ellender 
Chauvin and husband, Neil, Sean Ellender and wife, Kristie, Madison Ellender, 
and Montanna Ellender; great-grandchildren, Lilly Ellender, Lexy Ellender, and 
Paxton Ellender; step-great-grandson, Danny Chauvin; and sisters, Elaine R. 
Naquin, Sherlene St. Pierre, Mae Ann Dupre, Marlene Rodrigue, Dot R. Pitre, and 
Laura Rodrigue Louviere. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ellender; father, Wesley 
Rodrigue; mother, Bridget Dupre; sister, Stella Rodrigue; and daughter-in-law, 
Chantel Delatte Ellender. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
