Bernell Francis Sr., 38, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, 
died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Matthew 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Matthew Baptist Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his companion, Shantell Harris; father, Clarence Francis Sr., 
of Gray; sons, Breyen Francis and Bernell Francis Jr., of Houma, and Breyninn 
Francis, of Texas; daughters, Briyon Francis, of Houma, and Lashayla Francis, 
of Texas; brothers, Rudy Francis and Brandt Sims, of Gray; and sisters, Kim, 
Sarah and Peggy Francis, of Houma. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Sims Francis; brother, Clarence 
Francis Jr.; sister, Veronica Francis; and grandparents, Sarah Sims and Berwick 
McGuire, and Dorothy Brown Francis and Junius Francis. 

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
