Ivan "Yogi" Gisclair Sr., 85, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away 
Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. 

He is survived by his sons, Phillip Gisclair and wife, Mary, Sherman Gisclair 
and wife, Merlene, and Ivan Gisclair Jr. and wife, Kathray; daughters, Margaret 
G. Sykes, Mona Rae G. Curole and husband, Willie "Flea," Jodylynn G. Townsley 
and husband, Kevin, and Tracey G. Vedros and husband, Timmy; grandchildren, 
Lisa Wyckoff, Donna Pontiff, Bobby and Grant Boughamer, Penny Koester, Blaine 
Curole, Benji and Lee Gisclair, George II and Geoffrey Townsley, Hannah, Remi, 
and Hansel Vedros; great-grandchildren, Megan and Kreston Wyckoff, Brennan 
Bourg, Leia Pontill, Alex and Justin Boughamer, Alan, Kelly and Kevin Koester, 
Breaux, Logan and Jonah Curole, Rufus Gisclair and Elizabeth Townsley; and 
sisters, Patty G. Callais and Saraphine G. Eymard. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Beatrice Foret Gisclair, 
parents, Alidore Jr. and Alice Lasseigne Gisclair; brothers, Clive "Cliff" Duet 
and Hansel Gisclair; two infant brothers; sisters, Ursula "Bea" G. Collins, 
Ledie G. Eymard, and Marcia G. Davis; grandson, Blake M. Gisclair; great-
grandson, Jake Boughamer; and sons-in-law, Robert "Bob" Boughamer Sr. and 
Stephen "Steve" Sykes. 

Ivan was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
