He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, Spouse: Luella LeBoeuf Guidry, Sons: Donald James Guidry Jr. and wife Sharon Burton Guidry,and Wilfred Joseph Guidry, Daughters: Bernadette Guidry Duhe', Deanna Guidry Fanguy and late husband Carroll Fanguy, and Charlotte Guidry Boudreaux and husband Michael Boudreaux, Grandchildren: Donald Guidry III, Brandon Guidry, Ryan Guidry, Ashley Guidry Authement, Jenny Duhe' Bonvillain, Maggie Fanguy Smith, Melanie Wright Brunet, Chrissy Wright, Jessica Guidry, Ariel Guidry Domangue, and Arissa Guidry, and Ashley Boudreaux, Great Grandchildren:Austin, Nathan, Sydney, Jalen, Kaylee, Kyle, Marissa, Hudson, Collin, Camrin, Sway, and Dakota. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Wilfred Guidry and Bernice Guidry, Brothers: Wilbert Guidry Sr. and Roy Guidry, Sisters: Bernice Brunet, Bessie Ellender and Joyce Cehan. He was a parishioner of St Gregory Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their fishing camp and boiling seafood during the time they spent together. Donald was well known down the bayou for his generosity with the use of his generator during hurricanes. "Paw Paw Duck" will be dearly missed by his family and friends. ======================
