Hebert, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A prayer service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rena; daughters, Cheryl and son, Christopher and fiancée, Ashley, Becky and husband, Harrison, and children, Jarrod, Travis, Kerrie, and Carrie, Melissa and husband, Jeff, and children, Ashlee and Jeff; sons, Charley Jr. and son, Charlie, Dovic and wife, Nickie, and children, Marriah and Jody, Carl and wife, Melissa, and children, Seth and Vance, Todd and girlfriend, Amy, and children, Sydney and Zoe, and Kevin; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Dupre; and brothers, Cleo and Billy Hebert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dovic and Cecile Hebert; brothers, Morris, Berwick, Walter, Jimmy, Leroy, Albert, Freddie, Ludovic, and Edward; and sisters, Cecile Nelton, Bessie Crochet, and Angeline LeBouef. He was a loving husband and great provider for his family. He loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed taking his kids with him on fishing and hunting trips and he loved gardening.
