Dr. Anthony Joseph Herques, Sr., 77, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at 06:00 
AM. 
He was a native of New York City, NY and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at 
St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 
11:00 AM. 

Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

He is survived by his, wife of 52 years, Patricia Alfani Herques; son, Anthony 
"Tony" J. Herques, Jr. and wife, Char Bennett; daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" 
Herques Curtis and husband, Richard, Jennifer Herques Moseley and husband, 
Mark, and Alexandra "Ali" Herques O'Dowd and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, 
Anthony "Joey" and Andrew Herques, Sarah, Hannah and Zachary Curtis, Zoe and 
Violet Moseley, Collin and Savannah O'Dowd.

He was preceded in death by his, parents, Antonio Joseph and Hope Terrero 
Herques.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral .

He served the people of Terrebonne Parish for over 35 years as a physician at 
Terrebonne General Medical Center. Dr. Herques was a member of the board of 
TGMC and also served as the Chief of Staff for 2 years. He was a founding board 
member of the TGMC Foundation. 

In lieu of flowers donations to the TGMC Foundation would be greatly 
appreciated
