Beulah Josephine Johnson, 84, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died 
at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Bisland Cemetery in Bourg. 

She is survived by her sons, Gaylord F. Johnson Jr., Roger D. Johnson Sr. and 
wife, Nancy, Michael R. Johnson Sr., Daniel James Johnson, and Jeffrey A. 
Johnson and wife, Ann; brother, Ernest Bourg; sister, Linda B. Rhodes and 
husband, Spencer; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and niece, 
Angel Bourg Liner. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Gaylord Filmore Johnson 
Sr.; parents, Cleveland Henry and Amy Louise LeBouef Bourg; son, Justin W. 
Johnson; grandsons, Billy and Jonathan Johnson; brother, Leroy Bourg; and 
sister, Viola "Eula" Hebert. 

Beulah was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. 
She retired from South Louisiana Medical Center after 12 years. She enjoyed 
quilting and cooking. 
She was a beautiful loving wife, mother, and grandmother. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
