Charles J. Leonard, 53, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Nov. 24, 
2014. 

Memorial visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 

He is survived by his wife, Christine Defelice Leonard; son, Jeffery Bueche; 
stepsons, Chad Defelice and companion, Michele Authement, Chett Defelice, and 
Travis Blanchard; daughters, Francine Dupoy, Raylene Choplin and husband, 
Timothy, Chelsey Defelice and companion, Venancio Teczonquila, and Chasity 
Defelice-Velazquez and husband, Ramond; half brother, Johnathan "Bubba" Meaux; 
sisters, Evelia Leonard and Elaine Zongo; half sister, Anna Paige; and 16 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leonard and Josephine "Irene" 
Leonard Meaux; brothers, Edward Leonard and Paul Charles Leonard; half brother, 
Leroy "Nonie" Meaux Jr.; and stepdaughter, Kelly Naquin. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
