Exene Cortez Loupe, 89, a native and resident of Kraemer, passed away Saturday 
November 1, 2014.

Visitation will be from 9am until funeral time on Thursday, November 6th at St. 
Lawrence the Martyr Church in Kraemer. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 
11am at the church 

with burial in St. Lawrence the Martyr Church cemetery in Kraemer.

She is survived by her children, Geraldine Loupe Rodrigue, Janice Loupe 
Legendre, and Ronnie Paul Loupe; grandchildren Derek Legendre, Penny Legendre 
Scott, Craig Legendre, and Karlie Loupe; and great-granddaughter Tia Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Harris Loupe; son Morgan 
Warren Loupe; parents Marcelline D. Cortez and Septime Cortez Sr.; and 
siblings, Tousillia Cortez Kraemer, Moise Cortez, Joseph F. Cortez, Emelien 
Cortez, Louis Cortez, Septime Cortez Jr., Louis M. Cortez, Lloyd Cortez Sr., 
Lloyd Cortez Jr., Evelyn Loupe, Yvonne Usea, Edith Hotard and Marceline Loupe; 
and great-grandson Tre' Scott.
