Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1411.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Betty Lucille Mabile, 88, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, died at 1:37 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Mark Mabile, of Houma, Michael Mabile, and Sam Mabile; daughters, Bernadette Mabile, and Brenda Mabile Eschete and husband, David, of Houma; grandchildren, Tobi Mabile, Rhea' Mabile, Alexis Eschete, Danielle Eschete, Hannah Mabile, Jordan Mabile, Haley Mabile, and Ramsey Mabile; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Ernest Joseph Mabile; parents, Harry Dupre and Lillie Engeron Lopresto; grandchildren, Jacob Mabile, and Sadi Mabile; and brother, Floyd Dupre. Betty was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She was past Queen of the Krewe of Terranians. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Schriever Garden Club, Schriever Homemakers Association, and also attended the Schriever Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed traveling with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her, most especially her family and friends.
