Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at noon Friday at the funeral home. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jo Anna and Donnie Landry Jr.; father, Jeffery Mayon; sisters, Jayna Mayon and Kayla Freeman; niece and nephew, Khali and Khallen Freeman; grandparents, Rita and Mike Chatsko, Donna and Bill Tarpley, and Louis Mayon and late wife Eva; godparents, Bobbie Tarpley, Billie Tarpley Folse, Perry Rogers, Daniel Solar, Traci Bland Daigle; great-grandparents, Cleveland Sr. and Shirley Ohmer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walt D. Tarpley, Oliver and Edna Roy, Helen and Phillip Ohmer, and Louis Sr. and Celine Mayon. Jordan was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church and was employed by Cenac Marine. He was a 2014 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School. He loved the outdoors and being with his family and friends. He was always seen with a smile on his face and loved telling jokes.
