Douglas Anthony Molaison, 53, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Nov. 
24, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Louis 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in the church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Janis Blanchard Molaison; son, Marc Douglas 
Molaison and wife, Hedi; son, Benjamin Andrew Molaison and wife, Alyssa; 
mother, Ruby Jean "Jeannie" Robichaux Molaison; sisters, Dana Molaison, Debra 
Boudreaux, and Denise Baudoin; grandsons, Andrew and Thomas; and granddaughter, 
Amanda. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy John Molaison; and grandparents, 
Allen and Alma Molaison, and Clayon and Hilda Robichaux Doug was a devoted 
husband, father, and grandfather. 

He enjoyed spending time outdoors and caring for his farm animals. 
He was a skilled craftsman, producing many wonderful wooden creations for his 
family and friends. He was a dedicated employee of Main Iron Works for more 
than 35 years. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charity in his name. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
