Bessie Ann Naquin, 66, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and resident of Montegut, 
died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. 

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Wednesday at the Montegut Fire Station. Funeral services will be at noon 
Wednesday at the fire station, 

with burial in Bisland Cemetery. 

She is survived by her companion, Robert Robledo Sr.; son, Robert Robledo Jr. 
and wife, Emily Tooke Robledo and their children, Manny and Eli Robledo; son, 
Darrell Robledo and his children, Skyla, Carter, Darrell Jr., and Daelynn; 
stepdaughter, Diana Robledo and husband, David Retama Sr., and their children, 
Michael Robledo, Bessie Robledo, Lucinda Perez, David Retama Jr., Carolina 
Retama, Maria Cristina Robledo, Stanley Kellie, Jason Kellie, and Diana 
Mariscal; brothers and sisters, Priscilla and Adrian Billiot, Elain and Roy 
Naquin, Freddie Naquin, Linda "Peggy" and Lanis Foussell, and Darrell and 
Stacie Naquin; 10 great-grandchildren; and 20 nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucina and Francois Naquin; 
stepfather, Henry Tregle III; sister-in-law, Rosie Naquin; and nephew, Joseph 
"Joe" Trahan. 

Bessie loved quilting and caring for children. She raised children as if they 
were her own. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving 
mother, not only to her own children but many. 
She will be deeply missed. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
