Grover "Junior" Phipps Jr., 64, a native of Lumberton, North Carolina, and 
resident of Houma, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014. 

A memorial service will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Houma. 

He is survived by his spouse, Celine "Marie" Dazee Phipps; sons, Grover Phipps 
III and Jamie Phipps; stepdaughters, Tracy Walker and Kelly Delozier; sister, 
Cynthia Smith; and eight grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Sr. and Edna Troublefield 
Phipps; brother, Terry Phipps; and one grandson. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
