Allen Pitre, 64, a native of Houma, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 
his home in Hempstead, Texas. 
He was born May 12, 1950. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery II in Houma. 

He is survived by his sons. Allen Matthew "Matt" Pitre and wife, Ashley, and 
Benjamin Eustice Pitre and wife, Trisha; brothers, Eustice "E.J." Pitre, Rickie 
and wife, Gwynne, Steve and wife, Pam, Glynn and wife, Angie; sisters, Eurma 
Landry and husband, Russell, Dorothy "Dot" and Arthur Howard, Joyce and Kerry 
Carson, Barbara and husband, Kenneth Arceneaux, Rose Mary Pitre, and Lisa and 
husband, David Foret; grandchildren, Chase, Riley, Makenzie, Sydney, and Allen 
Michael Pitre; and the mother of his children, Nell Guidry. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustice and Rose Pitre; brother, 
Kenneth Pitre; and sister-in-law, Diane Pitre. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
