Visitation will be 4 to 8:30 p.m. Friday with the Rosary recited at 8 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with a private burial in Greensburg Cemetery in Greensburg. She is survived by her parents, James Gordon Prejean and Betty Carruth Prejean; sister, Rose Prejean Rollins and husband, William "Bill" Rollins; niece, Alex Kayen Rollins; nephew, Drake Gordon Rollins and fiancee, Haylie Chauvin; and great-nephew, Dillon James Rollins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Dillon Carruth and Ella Sanders Carruth and Emile Travis Prejean Jr. and Beulah Guerin Prejean. Sharon was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was employed by TGMC for 18 years in the Radiology Department. She truly loved being a mentor to many radiology students. Each student made her feel truly appreciated. Sharon was also a member of the Krewe of Aphrodite. She truly loved being involved in the club as Mardi Gras and Christmas were a true love of hers. But most of all her true love was her family and friends. Anyone who ever met her would love her. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all who loved her and helped care for her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory for the research and cure for Ovarian Cancer. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
