Myrtle Dufrene Rebstock, 89, a native of Labadieville and resident of Golden 
Meadow, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014. 

Visitation will from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 
11 a,m. Friday, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Golden 
Meadow. 

She is survived by her sons, Ray Michael and wife, Barbara, and Billy Rebstock; 
sister, Geraldine Dufrene Chiasson; grandchildren. Tommy Guidry and wife, 
Daphne, Michael Guidry and wife, Jennifer, Gay Orgeion and husband, Henry, 
Bonny Louviere and husband, Peter, Ryan Guidry and wife, Amanda, Ray Rebstock 
Jr. and wife, Jennifer, and Wade Rebstock and wife, Anisia; great-
grandchildren, Lauren (Eric) and Leslie Guidry, Michael Jr. and Camryn Guidry, 
Heath and Hailey Orgeron, Katie, Evan, and Luke Louviere, Ryan Jr., Alyssa, and 
Rustin Guidry, Brandy and Trevor Rebstock, and Jacob Rebstock (Mesha); and 
great-great-grandchildren, Thomas and Gracie Guidry. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Vivian Dufrene; husband, 
Linton Rebstock; daughter. Fay Rebstock Guidry (Roy); brothers. Warren and 
Calvin Dufrene; sister, Audrey Dufrene Brinson; grandson, Jamie Rebstock; 
great-granddaughter, Lacey Guidry; and great-great-grandson, Tanner Guidry. 

Myrtle was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden 
Meadow. 
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-
grandmother who loved spending time with her precious family. She will be 
missed by many and never forgotten. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
