Calvin Vergin Sr., 57, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died 
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home. 

He is survived by his sons, Calvin Vergin Jr. and Alex Guy; brothers, Kerry 
Vergin, Carl Martin, Kevin Vergin, Patrick Vergin, and Machael Vergin; sisters, 
Diane Green, Stephanie Vergin Jackson, and Martha Vergin; and three 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Ruffin and Elliose Vergin; and 
sister, Angela Marie DeRouen. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
