Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1411.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Carrie "Teetsie" Walker, 94, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Schriever, died at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m until funeral time Saturday at New Magnolia Baptist Church in Schriever. Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Halfway Cemetery. She is survived by her son, James A. Walker Sr.; daughters, Shirley Adams and Linda (Gralian) Hartman; 24 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Freddie Brown; one grandson; parents, Lemuel and Elmira Ross Walker; sisters, Evelyn Brown, Marie Thomas, Dorothy Wilfred, Mary Jane Evans, and Ruby Walker; and brothers, Mitchell Walker, Clifford Walker, William Walker, Richard Walker, and Konklin Antoine.
