Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Yvonne Pellegrin Wilson; sons, Carr E. Wilson III and fiance, Rosalind "Chicky" Dockery, and Tom E. Wilson and wife, Judy Webre Wilson; daughter, Linda Wilson Williams and husband, Randy Williams; granddaughters, Kelly Williams Gavin, Randi Williams Green, and Amy Wilson Perez; and great-grandsons, Jeffrey, William, Oliver, Dylan, and Andrew Carr. He was preceded in death by his father, Carr Edward Wilson Sr.; and mother and stepfather, Olive Theriot Duplantis and Tom Duplantis. Carr was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW. He retired from Texaco after 35 years and was the owner of Van Avenue Trailer Park and multiple family properties. He enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. ======================
