Frederick Charles Auzston, 73, a native of Galveston, Texas, and resident of 
Galliano, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014. 

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut 
Off. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Potter Auzston; son, Frederick C. 
Auzston Jr.; daughter, Shona Auzston Schouest; brothers, Howard, Christopher 
and Warren Auzxton; sisters, Emily Boultinghouse and Cheryl Steen; and two 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Emely H. Auzston; 
brothers, Richard Jr., Donald and Harvey Auzston; and grandson, Frederick C. 
Auzston III. 

Special thanks goes to St. Joseph Hospice. Special thanks and love goes to 
Kelly Landry, Amber Portier, Tammy Johnfroe and Lozia Jambon. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
