Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1412.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Kenneth John Bergeron, 62, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, with a private burial to be held at a later date. He is survived by his spouse, Darlene Porche Bergeron; stepsons, Lonny Eschete and wife, Doreen, and Daniel Eschete and wife, Christina Kelly Eschete; stepdaughters, Darnell Eschete and Charlein Preston, Audra Eschete, and Alyson Eschete Trahan and husband, Billy; 12 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold John Bergeron and Dorothy Beniot Bergeron. Kenneth worked for U-Haul International from 1997 to 2010 and most recently was co-manger for East Side Storage on Grand Caillou Road in Houma. He was a local hometown musician for 35 years. He had a passion for music and played with Southern Fancy for 13 years. His first band was Papa's Children at 13 and he was a guitarist for Fully Loaded in the 1980s. He also played with many local bands and groups over his lifetime. Kenneth will be dearly missed by his family and friends. ======================
