Joanne Oncale Brown, 62, was born on August, 22, 1952 and passed away on 
December 16, 2014. 
She was a native and resident of Chackbay, LA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay, LA from 8:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass 
of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in 
Chackbay.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Brown of Chackbay, LA; son, Travis Brown 
of Nashville, TN; daughter, Alanna Angel and husband Charles Angel of Due West, 
SC; sisters, Mary Barrilleaux and husband Alvin, Dolores Richmond, Kathleen 
Gaudet and husband Richard, Janis Naquin, Helen Ledet and husband Tommy, 
brother, Leonard Oncale, Jr. and wife Marion of Gheens, LA; father-in-law and 
mother-in-law, Norman and Joyce Brown of Raceland, LA; sister-in-law, Jennifer 
Portier and husband Darryl; and grandkids, Ethan, Clara, and Owen Angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Louise Oncale and brother-
in-laws, Bill Richmond and Ronald Naquin.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
