Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Chauvin Funeral Home and Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Living Word Church (1916 Highway 311) from 9:00 AM until funeral time at 12:00 PM. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Curtis Callais, Jr.; daughters Celeste, Caitlin and Candace Callais; Parents Alice Eschette and companion Leopold “Pap” Scioneaux and Louis Eschette, Jr. and wife Joyce; Sisters Rachel Whitlock, Mellissa Melancon and husband Troy, Alison Howell and husband Kevin, Nicole Gutierrez-Lopez and husband Jaime; Father and Mother-in-Law Curtis and Gladys Callais, Sr. and Brother-in-law Chad Callais and wife Angie; Godchildren Chaz Rodrigue, Justin Callais, Nicholas Callais, Noah Callais and Maegan Callais; Nieces Jaleessa Marshall, Braya Rodrigue, Josie Whitlock, Makenzie Gisclair, Harleigh Howell, and Sandy Gisclair; Nephew Mitchel Gisclair,Jr.; Great nephews and nieces Kaden Rodrigue, Rylee Rodrigue, Madelyn Callais, Ryker LeBlanc and Carter Rodrigue. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Foreman and Celeste Hebert and Louis and Florence Eschette, Sr.; brother-in-laws Clifton Joel Whitlock and Charles Joseph Callais. Jennifer was a very generous and caring person to all of her family and friends. She held a special place in her heart for her Godchildren and felt like her great nieces and nephews were more like her grandchildren. She had a heart for children of all ages and loved being able to bless them. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: Jeffrey and Kay Robichaux for their 8 year old daughter Jadyn who is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia , 335 Lansdown Drive, Houma, LA 70360. ======================
