Vivian Rita Champagne, 84, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Dec. 27, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. 

She is survived by her sons, Bruce Champagne and wife, Miriam, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas Champagne and wife, Judy, of Houma, and Kyle Champagne and wife, Mary, of Houma; daughters, Rebecca C. Morgan and husband, Mark, of Maddison, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Mae H. Lecompte and Geraldine C. LeCompte; grandchildren, Micah Champagne, Samuel Champagne, Trevor Champagne, Jade LeCompte and husband, Bradley, Tess Champagne, Raymond Joseph Champange II, Charles Wyatt Morgan III, Jacob Ira Morgan, Christa Jan Morgan, Julie Frisella, Jeanna Frisella and Jeff Frisella; and great-grandchild, Charles Wyatt Morgan IV. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Raymond Joseph Champagne; parents, Felix J. LeCompte Sr. and Felice' Pitre LeCompte; daughter, Juanita C. Frisella; brothers, Louis "Buster", Felix J. Jr. and Bruce LeCompte; and sisters, Rose L. Dumesnil, Vernell L. Bretz, Mary LeCompte and Una "Blackie" LeCompte; and sisters-in-law, Mae Champagne and Gladys Champagne. 

Vivian was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. 
She loved cooking for her family. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
