Kenneth “K.D.” John Darcey, 68, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at 03:30 PM. He 
was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Bourg, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM 
at Chauvin Funeral Home and Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 
Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 
December 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. 

Entombment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

He is survived by his, Wife of 48 years: Diana Theriot Darcey, Children: Ricky 
Darcey, Nicki Darcey Plessala and husband Craig Plessala, Kristi Darcey 
Chiasson and husband Jeremy Chiasson, Grandchildren: Conner Plessala, Kensie 
Plessala, Abigail Darcey, Hannah Darcey, Hayes Chiasson, Darcey Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Milton Antoine Darcey and Leona 
Theresa Dubois Darcey and Brother: Ronald Darcey.

K.D. served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a Master 
Mason of the Unity Lodge #267. For 45 years, he was a dedicated employee at 
Main Iron Works. Kenneth enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting, fishing, and 
making people laugh. The greatest love of his life was his family. His wife, 
children, grandchildren and dogs gave him will to fight in the final years of 
his life.
