Myrtle Deroche Fanguy, 93, a native of Houma and a resident of Houma, died Saturday, December 20, 2014.

Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 9am to 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Survived by
Sons- Ernest J. Fanguy and wife Vicky of Dupont, LA, William P. "Billy" Fanguy of Houma, James P. Fanguy of Houma, and Gary J. Fanguy and wife Lisa of Point-aux-chenes
Brother- Ivy Deroche of Bayou Blue
Sister- Mrs. Nolan (Marlene) Cenac of Houma
Grandchildren- 7
Great Grandchildren- 13

Husband- Ernest J. Fanguy Sr.
Parents- Elie Paul Deroche and Nora Fournier Deroche
Son- Charles J. Fanguy
Sisters- Melva D. Fanguy, Thelma D. Hebert, Audrey D. Chaisson, and Rhea D. Lirette

Myrtle was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and reading the bible. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was a great cook. She will be missed very much.
