Norman "Fats" Johnson, 77, a native of Empire, LA and a resident of Cocodrie, 
died Thursday, December 4, 2014 peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 11am to 1pm at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church, Chauvin.

Religious Services will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1pm at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church, Chauvin.

Survived by
Wife of 56 years- Carolyn Chaisson Johnson
Sons- Dean and wife Sandra Johnson of Houma, and Chad and wife Karen Johnson of 
Bourg
Daughters- Jody and husband Robert Lirette of Chauvin, and Dana and husband 
Lawrence Detiveaux of Houma
Brother- Martin "Noot" Johnson, Sr.
Sisters- Mae Johnson and Jeanette Voisin
Grandchildren- 13
Great Grandchildren- 9

Preceded in death by
Father and Mother- Albert Johnson, Sr. and Leonie Lilliman Johnson
Son- Eric Johnson
Grandchild- Angelle Lirette
Brothers- Albert Johnson, Jr., Henry "Giz" Johnson, Joseph "Joe" Johnson, and 
John "Johnny" Johnson
Step Brothers- Joe Scott and Carol Johnson

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, LA. 
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing with his beautiful wife, and being 
surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Journey Hospice and Renee 
Rhodes.
