Thelma Ploger Krohn, 96, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died 
Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church in Houma, 
followed by a celebration of life at 111 Kettle Drive in Houma. 

She is survived by her sons, Richard Krohn and wife, Gail, Barry Krohn and 
wife, Sharon, and Rodney Krohn and wife, Diane; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Krohn; parents, Calhoun and 
Elizabeth Herzog Ploger; son, Frank Krohn; one brother; three sisters; and 
three grandchildren. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
