Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church. The Very Rev. Robert C. Rogers, V.F., Pastor of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, will officiate, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. Lectors will be Mary Catherine Gilley, Claire Billeaud, and Renée Bellows. Gift bearers will be Kelly Weaver, Jules Weaver and James Weaver. Renella L. Deloney and Chuck Weaver Jr. will deliver the eulogy. Trevor LeBlanc will sing for the Funeral Mass, which will include "Be Not Afraid", "Ave Maria", "Surely the Presence" and "On Eagles' Wings". Pallbearers will be: Chuck Weaver Jr., Bill Bass, Chuck Billeaud, George Gilley, Chuck Weaver Sr., Michael Hawthorne, Jules Ellender, and Mike LeBoeuf. Honorary pallbearers will be, Wes Castille, Charles Hawthorne, Jim Bellow, Alfred S. Landry, Robert Cipolla, and Charles Calloway. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Liz Landry Bass and husband, Bill; grandson, Chuck Weaver Jr. and wife, Kelly Hawthorne Weaver; granddaughter and best friend, Julie Elizabeth Weaver; great-grandsons, Jules Harrison Weaver and James Louis Weaver; sister, Louise C. Soulier; many loving nieces and nephews; and her devoted caregiver, Laura Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Louis Landry (Dec. 25, 1967); parents, Alphonse Albert and Mary Segura Comeaux; sister, Catherine Billeaud; brother-in-law, Charles Billeaud; and brothers, Martial Adam Comeaux and infants, Harold and Richard Comeaux. Mary was a native of Broussard and resident of Houma for the majority of her life. Her world centered around her family, friends and her kitchen.
