Johnny Joseph Poincon, 89, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, died 
Monday, Dec. 29, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday, Jan. 2, at Maria 
Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Friday at the church, 

with burial in St. Bridget Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sisters, Helen Poincon Gaudet, Audrey Poincon Gaudet, and 
Betty Poincon Lapeyrouse and husband, Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Armond Poincon; brother, 
Benny Poincon; and sister, Dorothy Poincon. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
