REED: ROYAL LEE "UNCLE ROYAL" REED: A retired supervisor for the New Orleans 
Sewer and Water Board. He Departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at his 
residence in Marrero, LA. 
He was 74, and a native of Belle Rose, LA. 

Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, LA from 2:00pm to 
4:00pm Friday, Dec.26, 2014. Visiting at Greater Mt. Calvery Baptist Church, 
1600 Westwood, Marrero, LA from 9:00am to Religious Services at 10:00am 
Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 conducted by Rev. Terry Gullage. 

Burial in the Providence Park Cemetery in Metarie, LA. 

Survived by 4 sons, Kevin Reed and Kenneth Reed of New Orleans, LA. Royal 
(Bridgette) Reed, Jr of Decatur, GA and Christopher Reed of Marrero, LA; 1 
daugher, Kim Reed of Atlanta, GA.; 3 sisters, Gertude Powell and Bernice 
(Lawerence) Wilson of New Orleans, LA., Lucille (Walter) Magee of Belle Rose, 
LA.; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, 
other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah T. Reed; parents, Lizzie and 
Arthur Reed, Sr.; 5 brothers, Lawrence, Clifford, Arthur, Jr, James, Sr and 
Joseph Reed. 4 sisters, Warnetta Cola, Emelda Gooden, Vivian Mitchell and 
Wilhelmena Williams; a goddaughter, Winnie Means Walker.
