Elmo Christian Rieve, 65, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 08:46 PM. He was a 
native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 8:00am to 10:00am 
at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 
on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic 
Church. 

Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1.

He is survived by his, Spouse: Claudia Luke Rieve of Houma LA, Daughters: 
Alexis Rieve Gaspard and husband Corey of Morgan City LA, and Allison Rieve 
Wallace and husband Brian of Pineville LA, Grandchildren: Sophia Cecilia Ann 
Rieve, Lucas Christian Rieve-Hilse,

He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Marion Rieve and Helen Rieve,

He enjoyed music, spending time with family, close friends and good food. He 
was young at heart and was always devoted to his grandchildren.

"Chris" never met a stranger.

He had a devotion to Mass and was often found at Mass each Friday with his 
grandchildren.

The family would like to specially thank the doctors, CCU and ER nursing staff 
of Terrebonne General Medical Center. The family would also like to thank his 
doctors at Family Doctor Clinic, and many thanks to the specialist who cared 
for Elmo.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
