Veranell I. Sims, 77. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA 
died on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:09a.m. 

Services will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church 1220 Aycock St., Houma, LA on 
Saturday, December 20, 2014 with visitation at 9:00a.m. and mass will be held 
at 11:00a.m. 

She is survived by her husband, Randolph M. Sims. Son, Kevin Sims and 
daughters, Anne and Kathleen Sims. One brother, Eldridge Parks and sisters, 
Beverly Tucker and Marva Paltillo. Two grandchildren, Jazmin Sims and Kevin 
Sims, Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon and Florine Parks. 

She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church.
