Melvin "Popeye" Thibodaux, 74, a native of Labadieville and a resident of 
Thibodaux, died Thursday, December 4, 2014.

Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 
8:30 AM until funeral time at Thibodaux Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux,LA.

He is survived by his:
Wife - Amelia "Peanut" Thibodaux
Children:
Ronnie Thibodaux (Celeste)
Connie Pierce (Jim)
Melinda Perrillioux (Jason)
Joy Chiasson (Cat)
Mitch Thibodaux

He was a lifelong member of Thibodaux Fire Department #1, Knight of Columbus, 
Usher at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, Member of the Krewe of Cleophas, Member 
of the I.A.C.
