Flodie Alice Toms, 82, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 12:10 PM. She was a 
native of Saline, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at 
Carolina Baptist Church at 253 Carolina Church Road, Saline LA. Funeral Service 
will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11:00am at Carolina Baptist Church 
in Saline Louisiana. 

Burial: Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery in Saline Louisiana.

She is survived by her, Son: Michael Toms and wife Lynn, Daughter: Dianne 
Thomas and husband John, Brother: Alton "Buddy" Harper and wife Bettye, 
Grandchildren: Jaime Toms, Jessica Toms, Luke Toms, Jeremiah Redmond, Sarah 
Teague, Great Grandchildren: Gabrielle Jones, Logan Jones, Arthur Teague, Ellie 
Teague, Special Friends: Bea Howard and Nell Coleman. 

She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Robert Elsie Toms, Parents: Elbert 
Grady Harper and Callie Frey Harper, Son: Robert David Toms, Special Friend: 
Bernice Matthews.

She was loving wife, mother, and friend to all she knew. Her greatest joy was 
watching her family grow, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her church 
sisters.

The family request that donations or flowers to be send to Carolina Church in 
Saline LA at 253 Carolina Church Road, Saline LA 71070.
