VEILLON, REBA (SMITH) 

Reba Smith Veillon, 90, a resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, 
at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. 

In compliance with her wishes, her body has been donated to the LSU School of 
Medicine for research. 

A private memorial for the family will be held at a later date. 

She is survived by her children, Wayne Emile Veillon and wife, Connie, of 
Thibodaux, Emily Veillon Pope and husband, David, of Spring, Texas, and Nancy 
Veillon Crochet and husband, David, of Morgan City; grandchildren, Kim Poret 
Cloud, Dwayne Veillon, Lee Veillon, Greg Veillon, David Pope IV, Chris Pope, 
Matt Pope, Kevin Pope, Kara Crochet Sims, and Tim Crochet; and 18 great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile Veillon; and daughter, Annette 
Veillon Poret.
