She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, husband of 62 years, Milton "Tuttie" Joseph White; sons, Kent White and wife, Linda, Rory White and wife, Romaine, and Timothy "Timmy" White and wife, Paula; daughter-in-law, Gloria Noriega White; brother, Patrick Duplantis and wife Lillian; sister, Josephine "Jo" D. Howell and husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Bonnie L. Duplantis; brother-in-law, Burt Rhodes; grandchildren, Nicole "Nikki" W. Maronge, Jason, Adam, Jon and Candace White, Juan Claro Noriega, Maria, Daniela and Silvia Castellanos Noriega, Steven, Sara Catherine and Christopher White, Easton, Caroline and Richard White, Lindsay and Gabrielle White; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Meghan and Morgan Maronge, Austin and Justin White. She was preceded in death by her, son, Wayne White; parents, Easton and Marie Dubois Duplantis; brother, J.C. Duplantis; sister, Norma D. Rhodes. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. She was the owner and operator of Betty White Jewelers. She was a past member of Krewe of Hycinthians and Queen, Krewe of Cleopatra, and Night Twirlers. She enjoyed bowling, traveling around the world and going to baseball game. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Maria Immacolata Church or Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. ======================
