Pearl Adams, 92, a native of Gheens and resident of Lockport, died Friday, Jan. 2, 
2015. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, Jan. 10, at New Vision 
Christian Center in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Morristown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Deloris Bibs, Lois Adams, Carol Mae Thomas, 
Joyce Strickland and Linda Joseph (Hilton); son, Philip Adams (Brenda); sisters, 
Rosalie Marchand and Shirley Mae Parker; 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren; 
and five great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Adams Sr.; parents, Willie 
Caldwell and Josephine Parker; daughter, Celestine Guidroz (Red); brothers, 
Matthews Verret and Alphonse Parker; sister, Elnora Kent; and grandmother, Harriet 
Noble. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
