Laura Rita deBautte Becnel, 90, a native of Lucy, La. and resident of Vacherie, 
La., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am on Monday, Feb. 
2, 2015 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie, La. 

Burial will be in St. Philip Catholic Church cemetery in Vacherie. 

She is survived by her children, Laura Ann Becnel; Barbara Becnel Babin; 
Francis (Butsy) Becnel and wife, Sheila; Kevin Anthony Becnel, and wife, Dawn; 
Melanie Becnel Boudreaux and husband, Jeffery; and daughter-in-law, Tina 
Becnel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francois Joseph Becnel; son, Kenneth 
J. Becnel; sisters, Melanie Fabre, Tilly Reynolds, and Lillian Gendron; 
brothers, Daniel, Louis, Delton, Edgar, Ernest, and Clarence deBautte.
